On 17 June 2009, the Board of Holidaybreak plc announced a fully underwritten 4 for 9 Rights Issue by KBC Peel Hunt to raise gross proceeds of approximately £33.2 million (approximately £31.0 million net of expenses) through the issue of 21,714,340 New Ordinary Shares.
The Rights Issue was approved by Shareholders at a General Meeting held on 3 July 2009.
On 21 July 2009, Holidaybreak announced the successful completion of the Rights Issue with valid acceptances representing 98.5% of the total new ordinary shares and subcribers for the balance, procured by KBC Peel Hunt.
