Holidaybreak plc is pleased to announce the appointment of Matthew Cheetham as Managing Director of its Camping Division, succeeding Jim Crew whose planned retirement was announced on 12 November 2003. Mr Cheetham is currently Managing Director of Tradewinds Worldwide Holidays, part of MyTravel Group plc's UK tour operations. He will be joining Holidaybreak on 26 January 2004.

His sixteen years of overseas tour operating experience which has been mainly in the specialist holiday sector, with a significant involvement in camping and mobile-home holidays, will undoubtedly prove a major asset in enabling him to take on this challenging role at the head of the Group's core business".
